Doctors in Russia were horrified when they pulled out a 4 feet snake from a woman's throat after it slithered down her mouth while she slept in the yard of her home.
The woman, from Levashi village in Dagestan, was rushed to hospital after she started to feel unwell. She was administered general anaesthesia while the doctors prepared to perform the unusual operation. In the video of the procedure on Daily Mail, doctors can be heard saying, 'Let's see what this is'.

Moments later a female medic is left horrified the moment she grabs the snake and pulls it out from the woman's mouth. The shocked medic jumps back in horror and the medical staff scream in the footage when they realise the length of the snake.
The village of Levashi has a population of 11,500 and is at an altitude of 4,165 ft. While such incidents occur rarely, locals are advised to not sleep in the open due to reports of similar incidents in the past.
