Time travel is real... sort of

Flightradar24 shared on Twitter the time-defying flight path from Auckland to Honolulu
Passengers of Hawaiian Airlines flight HA446 were surprised to know that they have travelled back in! Flightradar24 shared the time-defying flight path on social media on Sunday which showed the Hawaiian Airlines plane taking-off from Auckland, New Zealand, where it was already 2018. But, when the plane landed in Honolulu, Hawaii, it was still 2017 there!
"Time travel is possible!" Flightradar tweeted and wrote, "Flight #HA446 just took off from New Zealand in 2018 and will land in Hawaii back in 2017!"

The passengers and Twitter users were amazed to know about the time-travelling flight and many even celebrated the rare phenomena.
One commenter asked, "How is this possible?" To which Flightradar responded and wrote, "The flight crosses the International Date Line." Auckland is a whole 23 hours ahead of Honolulu.
However, it was later revealed that the time-traveling flight was a consequence of the delay in departure by 10 minutes. According to reports in RT, the flight was scheduled to take off at 11.55 pm but it took off at 12.05 am.
