The National Center of Meteorology has warned vessels in Oman Sea of the continuity of fresh Northeasterly winds with a speed 42 km/h.
In a statement today, the NCM said rough sea with a wave height of 4-7 ft is expected until 2pm this afternoon; rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea.

The NCM also warned that fair to partly cloudy weather is expected over the weekend in western areas and islands of the UAE.
Moderate winds will cause dust to blow over exposed areas.
The Storm Centre has also issued a weather warning earlier regarding fresh winds sweeping across most areas of the UAE.
Some dust will be stirred up, potentially causing a visibility hazard.

Lowest temperatures witnessed in UAE last night were at Jebel Jais with 13 degrees Celsius at 4.45am. Mebreh mountain saw temperatures dip to 14.5 degrees at 6.30am.
