The NCM had earlier today predicted a chance of cloudy weather accompanied by heavy rainfall in the country, with winds causing the blowing of dust and reducing visibility.

The lowest temperature recorded over the country on Wednesday was 8.5 °C at Jebel Jais at 4am.

The maximum humidity would be between 65 to 80 per cent across coastal, 60 to 80 per cent in interior regions and between 50 to 70 per cent in the mountains.

The NCM had earlier said that waves are expected to reach up to six feet in height over the western Arabian Gulf offshore due to fresh winds with speed of 40kmph.
