Dubai - Police issue advisory for motorists.

Scattered thunderstorms and rains of different intensity lashed various parts of the country on Sunday night, with forecast of more showers on Monday.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) urged residents to brace for more rainfall, take precautions and comply with advisories issued by the authorities.
Moderate to light rain fell over Abu Dhabi, suburbs, western region of Al Dhafra and Ruwais, eastern areas of Al Ain and Sweihan, Al Barsha in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and other parts.
 

Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists to be cautious during rainy weather conditions.
"Motorists should exercise caution due to the rainy weather and follow the revised speed limits displayed on electronic information boards."
 
The National Center of Meteorology alerted residents to brace for windy Monday with chances of scattered rain.
Waves of up to 10 feet to hit UAE shores.

"It will be dusty and cloudy with a chance of rain during daytime especially northward and eastward. There will be thunder and lightning at times. Also, temperature will decrease.
"Expect moderate to fresh winds and strong reaching 55km/h at times over the sea, blowing dust and sand will lead to reduced visibility. Sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in Oman Sea.
"It will be humid by Monday night. There is probability of fog formation on Tuesday morning," the NCM said its forecast.
