The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has warned sea-goers of rough to very rough sea in the Arabian Gulf as a result of northwesterly wind, reaching 45kmph.

In a statement on Monday, the NCM said that wave height is expected to be between 6 and 8 feet, and peaking up to 9 feet until 1pm on Tuesday.

With changing weather and occasional rainfall in select parts of the country, the UAE weather bureau has been regularly issuing weather warnings this week.

Overall, the weather is going to be pleasant on Monday and Tuesday, and there is a likelihood of cloud formation and strong winds. The sea in the Arabian Gulf will remain rough to very rough, the NCM said.
