Heavy rain hit parts of the UAE on Wednesday morning - as predicted by the national Met department.
Thunderstorm with lightning is expected to hit parts of the country today.
According to the NCM, the weather forecast for today is partly cloudy to cloudy with rainfall over scattered areas, associated with lightening and thunder at times.
The mercury is expected to drop to 15°C.
Moderate to fresh Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds - getting strong at times, causing blowing dust/sand that will reduce visibility.
