UAE weather: Slight drop in temperature expected on Monday

Light to moderate rain was reported on Saturday in Hatta, Fujairah and areas bordering Oman. However, there is no forecast for rain for the next two days but a slight drop in temperature is expected on Monday.
By Saturday afternoon, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) had urged public on eastern and southeastern parts of the country to be on the alert for unfavourable weather conditions.
The Met had also warned about low visibility of less than 2,000 metres until Saturday night.
On Saturday morning, the lowest temperature of 26.3 degree Celsius was reported in Ashaab. There was formation of fog and mist over some internal and coastal areas of Al Dhafra.
According to weather reports, it will be hot and hazy over the next two days. The maximum temperature will be between 43 to 49 degree Celsius and minimum at 26 to 33 degree Celsius.
"Some low clouds will appear eastwards, which may become convective at times by afternoon. In general, light to moderate winds will blow. The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas with probability of fog and mist formation. Sea will be moderate, becoming rough at times in the Arabian Sea and slight to moderate in Gulf of Oman," the official said. "The climate remains same for next two days but there will be slight drop in temperature on Monday."
