UAE weather: Hot, dusty day ahead, temperature to hit 49°C

Humidity to increase at night and early morning tomorrow.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts Sunday weather to be dusty and hot during the day and partly cloudy to cloudy at times in the western and coastal areas.
According to the NCM, there is a possibility of convective clouds formations in the eastern part of the country by afternoon.

The maximum temperature during the day is expected to hover around 46 - 49°C along internal areas,  41 - 45°C along the coast and 35 - 39°C in the mountains.
It will be humid by evening and on Monday early morning over some western coastal areas. The maximum humidity would be 65 to 85 per cent across coastal, 50 to 75 per cent in interior regions and between 40 to 65 per cent in the mountains.
Winds will be light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly, freshening at times causing blowing dust over some exposed areas, with a speed of 20 to 30kmph, reaching up to 42kmph.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
