Abu Dhabi Police have urged motorists to exercise caution on Tuesday morning following the National Center of Meteorology's warning of possible fog causing poor visibility.

The NCM says there is the chance of such adverse conditions prevailing over coastal and internal areas of the UAE between 1am and 9.30am.

In a tweet, Abu Dhabi Police endorsed the warning by saying: "Abu Dhabi Police call on motorists to exercise caution due to reduced visibility during the fog. They are urged to follow changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.

"Drive Safely."

The rest of Tuesday will be fair to partly cloudy at times, the weather bureau said.

It will be a humid night and Wednesday morning with chance of fog and mist formation over some coastal and internal areas.

There will be light to moderate winds.

Conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
