The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has called on motorists to take all precautions and follow the traffic regulations regarding the chance of fog formation and poor horizontal visibility.
In a statement, the centre said that horizontal visibility will be affected over most internal areas and some coastal areas during the period from 23:00, Monday, December 30  until 10:30, Tuesday, December 31.

NCM also warned about fog formation and poor visibility over internal and coastal areas.
The UAE police have asked motorists to follow its messages sent via social media, which will help them stay updated on new alerts and prepare for hazardous weather conditions. Motorists have also been urged to monitor weather forecasts.

Sharing today's weather report, the NCM said: "The weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy with light to moderate winds in general."
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Gulf of Oman.
