Temperatures are set to soar in the UAE with a rise in humidity to up to 95 per cent, according to UAE's national met department (NCMS).
On Monday, residents woke up to fairly cool weather as fog engulfed parts of the country this morning.
According to the NCMS, there was a slight decrease in temperature with light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times over the offshore of western Arabian Gulf.
The maximum temperature recorded today was 42.7°C in Um Azimul with a maximum humidity of 95 per cent in the country.
The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning with a chance of fog/mist formation over some coastal and internal areas.

Forecasters expect the mercury to rise this week, getting hot during the daytime while becoming mild during night.

Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
