Rough sea and rain forecast for UAE this weekend

Weather across the UAE will be partly cloudy today with minimum temperature recorded at  14.9°C in the Jais Mountain.

In a statement, NCM said rough sea with a wave height of 3-6 feet is expected until Friday, 8pm. Residents are advised to be cautious while swimming in the various beaches in the region.
The NCM also warned residents that winds may cause blowing dust over exposed inland areas.

Relative humidity is likely to increase by night and early morning over some coastal areas.

The weather bureau also released a warning regarding cloud formation that are associated with rainfall, fresh wind, rough seas, and poor visibility.
Winds will be southeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, with speeds of 18 - 30kmhr, reaching 40kmhr in the coastal areas. The sea will be slight to rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Gulf of Oman.
The NCM has also issued a five-day weather forecast from Thursday until Monday. The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy at times during the day, with the probability of convective clouds formation over the eastern areas associated with rainfall.
