Photos: It's the season of rain in UAE, says NCM

Dubai - Unstable weather will continue till Friday.

Heavy rainfall and strong winds across the UAE is a 'normal weather pattern' for this time of the year as winter approaches, clarified UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.
"While climate change is a major cause of catastrophic changes in weather and other patterns, it's not out of space to see weather like this at this time of the year."
A spokesperson from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) told Khaleej Times that it is "the season of rain, which is coming from the Mediterranean Sea".
Heavy rains battered the UAE on Wednesday that saw normal life thrown out of gear in many emirates. The downpour caused more than 80 minor accidents in Sharjah and many roads remained inaccessible across the country due to heavy water-logging.
Unstable weather will continue till Friday as per the NCM forecast.
