Heavy to moderate rain lashed parts of UAE on Friday - late into the night, according to the national Met department.
The general weather forecast for the country is that weak pressure systems will affect the UAE with an extension of high pressure system in the upper air. Clouds will increase with convective rainy clouds formation especially over northern and eastern areas.

The weather forecast for today is that it will be partly cloudy at times and cloudy over the northern and eastern areas with a probability of convective clouds formation.
It will get humid by night and Sunday morning over some western areas, with a chance of fog and mist formation.
The maximum temperature for the day is expected to be 42°C, and a minimum of 19°C
Last night, NCM posted videos of heavy rain lashing parts of UAE, flooding some areas.
Ras Al Khaimah witnessed rain and 'dust devils' whereas Fujairah experienced heavy rain through the night.
