Light to moderate rain hit parts of the UAE on Thursday afternoon following dusty weather forecast for the weekend.

 
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), fresh northeasterly winds and towering clouds formation associated with rainfall caused blowing dust and dust suspension until 8:30pm on Thursday.
The minimum temperature recorded during the early morning hours in the UAE was 24.8 degree Celsius on Jais mountain. 
The day will be hot and hazy at times during the day with a probability of convective clouds to the east and southwards, the NCM said in a statement. 
Light to moderate winds will blow during the day, causing dust and visibility issues.
Temperature is likely to fall over the weekend, according to NCM. 

The relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas. There is a probability of mist formation.
Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
