As parts of UAE woke up to fog on Monday morning, the general weather forecast for the week is that rain will hit parts of the country this week.
Fog engulfed parts of Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and desert areas today.
According to the national Met department, the weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy in general. Some clouds will appear eastward, may be convective by afternoon.
Humid weather by night and Tuesday morning over some coastal and internal areas with probability of fog or mist formation.

Light to moderate winds, freshening at times. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
Earlier on Sunday, hail lashed Dibba and Masafi. NCM also issued a tropical cyclone alert for October 24.
