Motorists were urged to take caution as fog covered parts of the country on Monday morning, bringing visibility to less than 1,000 metres.
In a statement, National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said that poor visibility is expected at times over some internal and coastal areas till 9am, Monday.

The fog was reported over Bateen Airport, Dalma Island,  Al Hamra,  Abu Dhabi - Al Ain road, Abu Dhabi city, Zayed city,   Al Bahyah and Al Falah Area in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Police have urged motorists to drive carefully and reduce speed, while highlighting the importance of leaving an appropriate gap between vehicles to avoid accidents.
Sharing today's weather report, the NCM said the day will be fair to partly cloudy at times. Temperature to increase gradually.

Light to moderate winds in general, freshening  over the sea during the morning.

The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and  slight to moderate in the Gulf of Oman.
