Fog and mist caused poor visibility in some parts of the UAE in the early hours of Friday morning, according to the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) .

In a statement, NCM said that horizontal visibility is expected to drop less than 1,000 meters at times over some coastal and internal areas.
The NCM has urged motorists to take all precautions against potential fog formations.
Sharing today's weather report, the NCM said : "The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy in general with temperatures are expected to reach highs of 39°C internally and 38°C on the coastal and islands."

The maximum humidity would be  65 to 90 per cent across coastal, 60 to 85 per cent in interior regions and between 50 to 70 per cent in the mountains.

Winds reaching speeds of 38kmph are also likely in some areas. Northwesterly winds might blow dust and sand over some exposed areas. Humidity is likely to increase at night and in the early morning.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
