Fog covered many parts of the UAE on Tuesday morning, reducing visibility to less than 1,000 at several places.

The National Center of Meteorology, NCM, said surface high-pressure extension covers most areas of the Arab Peninsula, with an extension of a weak surface low pressure over some areas of the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea, with an extension of upper air ridge, resulting in stable weather conditions in the next few days.
 The overall weather today shall be fair to partly cloudy at times. Humidity will increase by late night and early morning over some internal and coastal areas with a chance of fog or mist formation.
"The wind will be light to moderate and will be northeasterly to northwesterly, with a speed of 15 - 25 km/hr, reaching 35 km/hr at times. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, and in Oman sea," NCM said.
