The UAE has is glowing in red as its Hope Probe nears Mars, the red planet. A stunning video shared on Saturday shows the country's landmarks lighting up in red.
Bathed in red as seen in the video are: Dubai's Museum of the Future, Dubai Frame, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Water Canal; Sharjah's Scroll monument; ADNOC building in Abu Dhabi; ancient forts in Ras Al Khaimah; and Ajman Museum, among others.
As at 3pm on February 6, the Hope Probe has covered a distance of 475 million kilometres, with another 4.8 million kilometres to go over the next three days.
It will reach its destination - the Martian orbit - on February 9.
