Videos of UAE policemen - who are going beyond the line of duty by coming to the rescue of motorists stranded on roads after their vehicles broke down - have gone viral, of late.
In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Ras Al Khaimah traffic police officials can be seen lending a helping hand to a motorist, whose four-wheel drive got stalled on the road, by pushing it away from harm's way.
Posted by a popular news aggregator, net_ad, the video - taken by a motorist passing by - has already garnered 63,000 views and hundreds of comments applauding the policemen's gesture.
On Tuesday, a traffic policeman in Dubai was promoted after a video of him pushing a broken down car went viral. Officer Waleed Mallullah Abdullah from the Department of Traffic helped a man to push his car, which broke down in the middle of the road, to safety.
Dubai Police Chief Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri ordered officer Abdullah's promotion in appreciation of his efforts and dedication.
