The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has recently reinstated a ban on poultry imports.
On their MoCCAE twitter account, a ban on the importing of all live domestic and wild birds, ornamental birds, chicks, hatching eggs, thermally untreated products from Bulgaria has been instated until further notice.

It also prohibited the import of poultry meat and thermally untreated products and eggs from the province of Dobrich, Bulgaria.
Last month, the UAE had lifted the ban which was instated based on a notification from the World Organisation for Animal Health about the registration of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the Republic of Bulgaria last October.
