Residents will now be able to book their medical appointments and rate their doctors and medical facilities online through 'DubaiHealthBooking.com'.
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced the launch of the portal during an event to introduce the Health Chain, which also includes the revamped online licensing system Sheryan.
The event was inaugurated by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.
The online portal is also a connection point for patients, doctors, and medical facilities, especially for those coming in as visitors to Dubai.
The platform is officially live and patients can now book medical appointments for government and private health facilities through the website (www.DubaiHealthBooking.com) or the DubaiHealthBooking.com app.

Maisa Al Bustani, Innovation Team Leader of the 2018 cycle, which came up with the platform, said the portal would allow patients to search for a speciality, a specific doctor or centre, and schedule an appointment instantly.
"Patients will be shown facilities according to the star ratings that will be given by the patients themselves," she said.
The platform will also indicate whether the facility or service is covered by the patient's insurance.
"This will help patients in making an informed decision based on accurate and reliable information and patients' reviews. DubaiHealthBooking.com will also remind care-seekers of their appointments by sending notifications to prevent delays," Al Bustani said.
She revealed that in its first phase, DubaiHealthBooking.com will feature services and doctors from both private and public health facilities in Dubai to ensure that a diverse selection of healthcare options is available.
"In the first phase that is now live, public health facilities and services featured on the website and app include the paediatric department of Hatta Hospital and the family medicine department in both Al Twar and Al Mankhool Primary Healthcare Centres," she said.
"Private medical facilities featured on the website will include 17 Medcare Hospital branches, Valiant Clinic, Medeor Hospital, Thumbay Hospital and American Hospital."
In the second phase in June, the remaining DHA primary healthcare facilities and specialities, DHA hospitals (Rashid, Dubai and Latifa Hospitals), as well as other private hospitals, centres and clinics, will be added to the website, Al Bustani said.
"At the end of the second phase in August, the DHA will add the remaining DHA facilities, including its speciality centres. The public will also be able to book multiple appointments at once by then.
"The integration of all current medical facilities in Dubai should be completed by the end of the year to include healthcare provider and professional profiles for more than 3,700 facilities and 33,000 professionals."
