A Dh350 coupon has been unveiled by Pink Caravan — a pan-UAE breast cancer awareness initiative by the Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) — to mark Mother’s Day.
Launching for the first time this year, ‘Pink Care’ coupon unwraps health perks in the form of a mammogram screening at a dedicated medical mobile clinic. Purchasers will be an integral part of Pink Caravan’s mission to raise community awareness on key issues surrounding breast health and breast cancer.
Proceeds of coupon sales will also support research efforts in breast cancer prevention and treatment and go towards improving the lives of those affected by breast cancer.For those who have been putting off their routine breast screenings due to concerns over Covid-19 exposure, the Pink Caravan’s Medical Mobile Clinic located at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah.
The Pink Caravan will continue to offer free health screenings to women and men of all nationalities in the UAE during its annual Pink Caravan Ride, which will be held in the fourth quarter of this year.
