The Abu Dhabi Police on Thursday once again warned motorists and commuters to not throw waste such as masks and gloves on the road.

In a tweet, the police said that those found throwing waste out of a vehicle will face a penalty of Dh1,000 and six traffic points.


Littering on the roads and other public property poses a threat to environmental and public safety, the police added.
