Police have been deploying their forces to assist residents during their morning and afternoon commute through the water-logged roads in several emirates.
In Ras Al Khaimah, police were seen assisting a car stuck in metre-high rainwater.

Sharjah Police were also seen deployed all over the emirate, standing knee-deep in water and directing traffic along Sharjah airport road and other areas.
Thunderstorms with very strong winds continued to lash UAE on Monday morning.
Weather conditions are likely to continue across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
