Dubai Police now have 'Ghiath', a new hi-tech beast on wheels that it can use to keep the city safe.
According to a tweet on its official account, the new police patrol SUV, one of the most advanced police vehicles in the world, is equipped with artificial intelligence systems featuring facial recognition technology.
The patrol boasts of touch screens, technological features with crime-busting abilities and can also recognize vehicles that are being tracked by Dubai Police.
The vehicle has an extremely futuristic and state-of-the-art communication system which directly linked to the command operations room.
This is yet another feather in the Dubai Police cap. Last year, the force had set the 'fastest patrol supercar' world record.
According to a Wam report, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, received the Guinness certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records for the fastest police patrol in the world -- the Bugatti Veyron sports car.
