Video: Distracted driver crashes into car, spins out of control in UAE

Abu Dhabi - A split second is all it takes to change lives forever.

Abu Dhabi Police have released another harrowing crash video that took place in UAE.
The video, entitled "A Split Second", shows one vehicle taking a left turn at an intersection while another vehicle continues straight.
CCTV footage shows the first car squarely ramming into the driver's side of the second vehicle, which spins a full 180 degrees and stops.
Three pedestrians can be seen jumping out of the way of the spinning vehicle and narrowly missed being run over.
The video concludes "A split second... is all it takes to change your life forever."
Abu Dhabi Police stressed that any distraction while driving will result in a Dh800 fine and 4 black points.  
In line with the Ministry of Interior's initiative, "Avoid Distractions While Driving", police warned against using your phone to surf the internet, social media, take a call or photos while driving. Such behaviours and others lead to dangerous situations and accidents taking place on the road.
