Dh3,000 fine, vehicle impoundment for this UAE traffic violation

The Abu Dhabi Police has reminded motorists to give way to emergency vehicles in a video posted on Twitter.
In the video, which was posted on its official Twitter account, a police patrol can be seen moving through multiple vehicles that gave it way while the signal was red. Many different emergency vehicles can be seen moving as well, after private vehicles moved to the side of the road.
The Abu Dhabi Police stressed that "giving way to emergency vehicles, makes their response time quicker."
Not giving way to emergency vehicles is a violation punishable with Dh3,000 fine, 30 days impoundment and 6 black traffic points.
