Video: Careless driver jumps lanes, crashes into car in UAE

Abu Dhabi - This is one of the main reasons for accidents in UAE.

As part of their traffic awareness campaign, Abu Dhabi Police released another harrowing video of a traffic violation on Wednesday.
The clip shows how sudden swerving is one of the main causes of traffic accidents.

Abu Dhabi Police emphasised its keen interest in enhancing collaboration with the Traffic Safety Committee in the emirate, to help boost safety for drivers and road users. Abu Dhabi Police also urged drivers to avoid changing lanes suddenly as this can result in serious accidents.
The force called on drivers to avoid all causes that could result in the loss of control of their vehicles, indicating that intensive smart systems monitoring will be applied to identify and penalise violators.
Abu Dhabi Police further stressed that erring drivers will be required to pay a fine of Dh1,000 and receive 4 traffic points as stipulated by Article 29 of the UAE traffic law.
