Massive traffic jams have been reported in the capital and across Dubai, Sharjah on Wednesday morning.
In Dubai, traffic snarls affected drivers on Al Awir road from Al Warqa, the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, and on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.

Motorists travelling towards Dubai experienced slow moving traffic from Dubai Silicon Oasis to Nad Al Sheba 1 as well as on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) near Dubai Investment Parks. 

 
 

In Abu Dhabi, traffic is moving slowly on the E10 from Reem Island to the Eastern Mangroves.

There are further delays inbound on the E20 Al Ain road near Zayed University.



According to Google Maps data, Dubai-Sharjah road is in the red with rush hour congestion levels.



Tailbacks were reported with heavy congestion on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the National Paints roundabout in Sharjah to Dubai. Delays were also expected on Al Wahda Street.
