Commuters and motorists faced heavy traffic on Sunday morning as schools in the UAE re-opened for the new academic session.
Traffic jam slowed the movement of vehicles in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Tailbacks formed around Sharjah industrial areas also where many schools are located.
An accident was reported on E20 Abu Dhabi International Airport Road after Sweihan bridge which blocked the right lane.
