Police have reduced the speed limit on a key UAE road, according to a statement issued late Sunday night.
Fujairah Police posted a brief statement on Sunday, informing motorists about the revised speed limit on Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid road.

The speed on the arterial road, extending from Yabsa Bypass Roundabout to the end of Thawban area, has been reduced from 140 kmph to 120 kmph.

"The speed change is to take effect on July 1, 2019," the statement added.

"The additional 20kmph buffer speed is still valid," the force said.
