Abu Dhabi Police have announced a temporary closure of roads in the capital for emergency maintenance work.
According to a statement issued on social media on Wednesday, the Abu Dhabi Traffic and Patrols Directorate announced the traffic will be diverted for those driving from Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Road (formerly Al Morour) towards Pepsi intersection; and those driving from Arabian Gulf Street towards the same intersection on Raban Street which is located between Sheikh Rashid bin Seed (Pepsi intersection) and  Arabian Gulf Street opposite to the Embassies Area.

The Abu Dhabi Police has urged motorists to use alternative routes to avoid traffic blocks on the roads.
Accidents and traffic jams in Dubai are likely to cause delays for commuters on Wednesday morning.
Expect delays if you are traveling from Abu Dhabi towards Dubai for work today as an accident has been reported on Corniche street towards Marina Mall. The centre lane is blocked, causing slow moving traffic on the route.
