A 28-year-old Emirati man died in a traffic accident on Al Dhaid-Sharjah road on Saturday.
The young Emirati's vehicle - a SUV-pick up - crashed in to a lorry, fatally injuring the man, according to the police report.
Police patrols, an ambulance and a Sharjah Civil Defence team immediately arrived at the scene after receiving report about the accident, Emarat Al Youm reported.

The front of the vehicle was completely destroyed after it hit the back of the lorry.
The driver's body was removed from the car and sent to a hospital in Al Dhaid for necessary procedures.

Al Dhaid-Sharjah road has lately witnessed many accidents, causing the Sharjah police to launch 13 traffic safety initiatives, aiming at reducing accidents on highways and different roads, including Al Dhaid-Sharjah road.
