The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched seven new bus routes, including two metro link routes. The authority has also improved 24 other routes.
Metro link bus routes F19A and F19B will serve the Business Bay district and pass through several hotspots in the area. The service will be running at a 10-minute interval every day except Fridays.

Mohammed Abu Baker Al Hashimi, director of planning and business development, public transport agency, said: "The RTA is opting for broadening and improving the public bus network as a quick response to the needs of public bus riders. The move is also prompted by the ongoing urbanisation and business development in Dubai as part of the upswing seen by the UAE in various fields.
"Public bus routes are instrumental in offering strategic services to residents, visitors and tourists of Dubai. Increasing the journeys made through public transport means will attract various community segments to use mass transit means in their daily travels, improve the traffic flow and clean the environment from vehicular emissions." reporters@khaleejtimes.com
