A bus accident involving 52 pilgrims was reported in UAE on Tuesday morning.
According to a statement issued by Abu Dhabi Police today, 52 pilgrims were travelling from the holy city of Makkah - after performing Umrah - to the Sultanate of Oman, when their bus hit a metal barrier on a UAE highway.

The accident took place on Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road in the direction of Oman.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
The Director of the Department of Traffic of the Outer Region at Abu Dhabi Traffic Police said that first responders immediately reached the site of the accident to rescue the pilgrims. They have been provided lodging, meals and drinks until an alternative transportation is arranged.
