Sheikh Mohammed hails US Mars mission's success
Dubai - The UAE Vice-President says scientific exploration will reveal the Red Planet's secrets and give insights into its past and future.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated Nasa over the successful landing of Perseverance rover on the Martian surface.
In a tweet posted within minutes after the landing, Sheikh Mohammed said the joint scientific exploration will reveal the Red Planet's secrets and give insights into its past and future.
“Another successful mission has just reached Mars. Congratulations to the United States & @NASA for the successful landing of the Perseverance rover on the Martian surface. The joint scientific exploration will reveal the Red Planet's secrets & give insights into its past & future,” Sheikh Mohammed said in his tweet.
This is the third successful mission to Mars after the UAE's Hope Probe and China's Tianwen-1.
Sheikh Mohammed had earlier tweeted in Chinese after the China mission reached the Red Planet.
