The boy was found by an Emirati man who informed the police that a small child was found lost on the street. Major Mohammed Al Suwaidi, head of the community police section in Ajman, said that they received the call about the boy at the operations room. They immediately dispatched the community police who rushed to the area and received the boy from the Emirati man. As the boy couldn't speak Arabic, the police faced difficulty in finding his parents. He was provided with food and snacks as well as toys by the cops.
The officers checked all police stations to see if any missing report was filed by the parents. "Since there was no report on the missing boy, police patrols started thorough search for the parents of the child," he said.
