UAE has directed its ambassador in Pakistan to provide support and assistance to quake-hit families.
Hamad Alzaabi, UAE's envoy to Pakistan, took to Twitter on Wednesday to express his condolences, adding that he had been instructed by the government in Abu Dhabi to help families affected by the earthquake in different parts of Pakistan - in coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority:

'I have received direct instructions from Abu Dhabi to provide all kinds of support and assistance to families and areas affected by the earthquake in different parts of #Pakistan .. we are currently assessing the needs with NDMA of Pakistan, our condolences to dereived families'
Earlier this week, a strong 5.8 quake hit parts of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, claiming over 20 lives and injuring hundreds. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Pakistan army chief immediately ordered authorities and personnel to provide relief to the affected.
