UAE residents alert: Emirates Post warns against new email scam

Department has assured that it will be taking legal action against fraudsters.

Emirates Post on Friday issued a warning against scammers sending fake emails using the government department's name.

According to a post on their social media, certain fraudsters continue to send phishing emails that ask victims to reveal personal information such as passwords or bank details.

It advised UAE residents to beware of these emails and not respond to them.

Emirates Post Group have assured that they were working with the relevant authorities to take necessary legal action.
