The UAE will remain the world's number one country, leaders have vowed during the third annual government meeting that began in Abu Dhabi on Monday. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, jointly chaired the meeting.

Taking to Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed said the UAE has the best team to maintain its position among the top countries. "My brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and I reviewed the country's position, our challenges, future ideas, and most importantly, 10-year plans. I promise our people that the UAE will remain a top country."
"Our directives to the UAE government team to turn every challenge into opportunity, and to make accomplishments that touch people's daily lives. We believe that our journey towards the centennial and our plan for the next ten years requires flexible work plans, as we want for Emiratis a proactive government services, and creative projects that make positive impact on life quality," Sheikh Mohammed said.
"The UAE will always be at the top...We have the best team to cross towards the future," he said.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also tweeted about the annual meeting, and said the integration, effectiveness and vitality of the government work in the country is a fundamental pillar to achieve our aspirations and aspirations for the future.
"Governmental work is the main core of our future ambitions," the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince noted.
The annual meetings, which bring together more than 500 national leaders from federal and local government authorities will review the various phases of development to reach UAE Centennial 2071. It also looks at government action programmes to be implemented in the next 10 years, which constitute the first phase of the plan, which spans five 10-year phases.
They will also discuss ways to further strengthen joint national efforts and develop the future infrastructure of the UAE. The UAE Government Annual Meetings will conclude today with the UAE Pioneers Award ceremony, which honours role models of tolerance - be they people, projects and initiatives - who spread values of peace, coexistence, and tolerance in the UAE.
The UAE Government annual meetings are an important platform that brings together the UAE people and government officials to communicate and interact as a single work group, with the aim of reaching a single goal and achieving the leadership's aspirations to see the UAE become the first in the world in various fields and sectors.
As part of the various events marking the UAE Government's annual meetings, there was also a special meeting between the Crown Princes.
