His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have held discussions over the phone on Monday.
The talk revolved around boosting the bilateral relationship between the two countries, with a focus on the regional cooperation.

In a tweet, Sheikh Mohamed said: "During a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, we discussed strengthening bilateral ties and examined prospects for peace and the need for stability, cooperation and development in the region."

Recently, the UAE and Israel signed a historic treaty - dubbed as the Abraham Accord - to usher in peace and normalise ties.
