His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has offered to help Australia tackle its months-long bushfire crisis.

During a phone call with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed discussed the severity of the crisis.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince conveyed the UAE's solidarity with Australia, saying the country was ready to offer expertise, equipment, manpower and other forms of support to fight the fires and help it rebuild after it has been contained.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed told the Australian Prime Minister that Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, will coordinate with the Australian government to deliver the assistance.
At least 25 people and millions of animals have died and 2,000 homes destroyed due to the crisis since September.
