Individuals and companies in the UAE may now enter into agreements with Israeli firms, citizens and residents, as the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has abolished the Israel Boycott Law.
Following the historic UAE-Israel peace accord, Sheikh Khalifa has issued Federal Decree Law No. 04 of 2020, dissolving Federal Law No. 15 of 1972, as part of the country's efforts to expand diplomatic and commercial cooperation with Israel.
With the abolition of the boycott law and based on the new decree, it will be permissible to enter, exchange or possess Israeli goods and products of all kinds in the UAE and trade in them.
The UAE has been laying out a roadmap to launch joint cooperation with Israel and build bilateral relations, by stimulating economic growth and promoting technological innovation.
