His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced sweeping changes to the Cabinet on Sunday. Several ministries and federal departments have been merged to form a new government structure that is "faster and more flexible" and tasked with leading the country into the future.

The new Cabinet has 33 members, including Sheikh Mohammed.

The new government has been given one year to achieve its targets. "Continuous changes will be the motto of the new phase until we achieve the best possible governance fit for the new era; and until we achieve a government that fulfills the ambitions of the Emirati people."

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior: Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs: Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Minister of Finance: Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan
