Residents can now check online if they have financial cases registered in Dubai, police officials said.
The Artificial Intelligence Department at Dubai Police launched a new smart service to allow residents to check their criminal status in financial cases registered at police stations.
Through Dubai Police app and website, users can inquire about travel bans due to financial cases.

Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, director of the Artificial Intelligence Department at Dubai Police, said the new service will save time and effort for residents who will not be required to visit police stations to inquire about their financial cases.
The service is available round the clock for free.
Al Razooqi urged the public to use the service, which was launched in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), to adapt to Dubai's quick-paced progress.
