Ban on flying drones over Dubai parks

Decision issued to ensure visitors’ safety and privacy.

Dubai Municipality has announced that drones are no more permitted to be flown over parks in the Emirate.

A statement posted by DM on Sunday said that the move would ensure the safety and privacy of visitors to the parks.

Drone-flying is a popular hobby in the UAE. Drones were used to plant 10,000 ghaf trees in the green belt of Sharjah’s Mleiha Desert on Tuesday.
