A Dubai-bound Emirates flight was diverted to London due to a technical fault.
According to reports, flight EK18 took off from Manchester on March 12, but had to be diverted to London's Heathrow Airport shortly after take off due to the glitch.
According to a tweet by @LEMDEGLL, the flight landed safely and was taxied off. Fire services were also at hand for any emergency assistance.

The A380 A6-EEB was reportedly carrying 853 passengers and circled 9,000 feet over West Yorkshire before landing at Heathrow.
The airline confirmed the fault and apologised for the inconvenience, according to a statement issued by an Emirates spokesperson.
"Emirates flight EK 18 from Manchester to Dubai on 12 March was diverted to London Heathrow shortly after takeoff due to a technical fault. The aircraft landed safely at London Heathrow.
Passengers [were] disembarked and rebooked on alternate Emirates flights for their onward journey to Dubai. The plane landed safely at London's Heathrow Airport at 3.01pm, where it was met by fire services.
Emirates apologises for the inconvenience caused. The safety of our passengers and crew is of paramount importance and will not be compromised."
